Cognitive skills are what your brain uses to think, process, remember, learn, and reason. Aside from learning ABCs and 123s, ABA helps with other skills like problem solving and paying attention

Adaptive Skills

Adaptive skills are everyday life skills needed to independently take care of oneself. Skills would include grooming, eating, potty training, cleaning, cooking, shopping etc.

Social/Emotional Skills

Social skills is how we interact and communicate with each other. ABA can help identify and regulate emotions. It also helps initiate relationships.
