Therapy Ever After

Hi, I’m Stacy Leets, MS, BCBA.

With 20 years of experience in behavior analysis, I’ve learned that true progress never comes from a one-size-fits-all model.

I believe that behavior is communication, and every individual deserves a supportive, affirming space to grow, communicate, and thrive on their own terms.

My Services

Over two decades, my practice has evolved into a compassionate, collaborative space designed to meet you and your family wherever you are:

At its core, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the practical science of understanding how environment shapes behavior and how we learn new skills. Built on the simple principle that humans naturally repeat actions that reinforce outcomes, ABA breaks down complex life goals (such as communication, social interaction, and daily routines) into small, manageable steps. By utilizing consistent positive reinforcement and tracking real-world data, this highly personalized, evidence-based approach helps individuals build independence, master new abilities, and overcome everyday challenges in a supportive and rewarding way.

Who Benefits From ABA?

Children

ABA strategies are used to teach “executive function” skills. A therapist might work with a child to break down a multi-step chore or school assignment into smaller tasks, using clear expectations and consistent rewards for completing each part. This helps children build better focus, manage transitions between activities more smoothly, and follow multi-step instructions without becoming overwhelmed.

Young Adults

For adolescences aging into adults, ABA can focus on “functional independence.” Therapists help identify environmental triggers that cause frustration and implement routines that make daily tasks like hygiene, meal preparation, or medication adherence, easier to manage. By simplifying these tasks and rewarding efforts toward independence, it helps adults maintain their dignity.

Adults & Parents

For adults, ABA acts like applied life strategy and environmental design. The focus is on aligning your daily life with your unique brain profile, rather than forcing you into neurotypical molds. For parents (whether raising neurodivergent kids or navigating parenting while neurodivergent themselves), ABA focuses on co-regulation, environment design, and practical household systems.
